WHAT SESSIONS INVOLVE
Sessions are conducted in a calm, professional studio environment and are used to create reference material for photographic and painted works.
The first session is always fully clothed and focused on portrait and reference studies. Its purpose is to allow the model and artist to meet, establish trust, and become comfortable working together. Nudity is never part of the first session.
Models are welcome to bring a friend or support person to attend the session. They may remain present throughout to ensure the model feels safe and comfortable. The studio environment is quiet, respectful, and professional.
Depending on the project and the model’s comfort level, future sessions may involve a broader range of portrait or figure studies. Nudity is never required and will only ever be discussed and undertaken with the model’s explicit prior consent. Models are free to decline any concept, pose, or session at any time.
No prior modelling experience is required. Direction is provided throughout the session, and the working environment remains calm, respectful, and collaborative.
WHAT MODELS RECEIVE
Models typically receive a selection of professionally produced images for their personal portfolio and use.
Most sessions are conducted on a trade-for-print basis, providing high-quality portfolio material and participation in ongoing fine art projects and exhibitions. Paid sessions may be offered depending on the project requirements, model experience, and exhibition context.
Participation provides an opportunity to be involved in professionally produced fine art projects and exhibition work.
EXPECTATIONS & CONDUCT
Models are expected to communicate clearly regarding availability and conduct themselves professionally during all interactions and sessions.
Sessions are conducted privately in a controlled studio setting. Respect for personal boundaries, professionalism, and mutual trust are fundamental to the working process.
Models are encouraged to communicate openly regarding comfort levels, preferences, and limitations at all times.
PRIVACY & IMAGE USE
Images created during sessions may be used for artistic production, portfolio presentation, website display, and exhibition purposes.
No images will be used outside the scope of artistic practice without clear consent.
A full model release and consent agreement will be provided and discussed prior to any session.
